Translation today is an extremely computer-based profession, with translators now having access to infinite online resources, dictionaries, discussions and more. Translations are delivered by email, reducing turn-around times and keeping pace with today’s customer demands. In addition, translation software programs have been developed to make the process more efficient, saving customers both time and money.
Like many translators, I work with a range of CAT (computer aided translation) tools including:
- SDL Trados Studio 2017
- MemoQ
- Customers’ own CMS
I am also proficient at working with standard software programs including Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Excel.
